UN Peacekeeping
UN plays a vital role in handling the problems in the world. There are different kinds of problems in the world which UN tries to solve. In some situations UN has to send personnel to ensure peace and safety of the civilians. These military and other personnel ensure and enforce peace in the country. As of MONUSCO, the current UN peacekeeping mission in DR Congo aims to restore peace and stability to the region by working to protect civilians from any kind of violence, facilitate the civilians who need aid. UN has many success and failure in this conflict. The UN peacekeeping operation continue to try hard and establish peace in Congo though they had many failures.
